btw. Had the new motor for the Vette dynoed today. 934hp at 6800. 34 deg timing. That was with the 1250 quick fuel carb. Actually run about a tenth quicker with a 1190 BG King Demon, but forgot the spacer for it. The blades hit the throttle stop without a spacer. Could probably hit 950+ with it.

So I'll briefly tell you what Steve Schmidt did to the motor he built for us. Towards the end of the season, engine was blowing a smoke screen about 1k' mark. So much so that you couldn't see the car through it. Upon teardown, new engine builder found this: 1. one side of the block was decked .010 more than the other. So, 4 pistons were hitting the head. 2. He put the wrong pistons in it, we were actually running 16.7:1 compression. So much compression, that the Ferrera titanium valves were mushrooming up inside the heads. Because of this, 5 pistons were cracked by the wrist pin, and a blown head gasket. Had to deck the other side of the block to get them even, and had to have J&E make a custom set of pistons. Needless to say, Schmidt won't be getting any more of our business.
Weighs 2300 with me in it. Ran a 7.99 last year, but only launch at 3800rpm, otherwise I ride the wheelie bar too long and it starts drifting to the wall. Already riding it ~50' the way it is now. --> http://www.agbulletracing.com/Videos/super chevy show 08.wmv

ok guys
My sy has flowmaster exhaust with a highflow cat a adj fuel pressure reg and a k/n filter along with a aftermarket propshaft.
My question is what class would i be better to run in besides brackets?
i will drag the tow rig (06 silverado with a preadator tune)

That would be a must. Rental/Tow has gotta be "no gizmo".
