ATR exhaust help

i hit a bump today and the back of my 3 " atr exhaust clamp broke, so my exhaust is hangning really low, i had enough tape to hold it al the way from the gas station to my driveway until it melted the tape, i didnt put the exhaust on so i dont know how it mounts in the back, i did buy a 3 inch exhaust clamp in hopes to rig somthing, but i want to know how it is supposed to be clamped

here is a pic as of now , what should i do or how was it supposed to clamp??

there used to be an exhaustclamp there with a piece of petal welded on, that slides through the hanger

thanks for the help guys, i just went to advanced auto parts and bought a 3 inch exhaust clamp and then hooked it around my exhaust and bought another clamp to go in the loop and then combined them. it works great and is perfectly sturdy, it has less play then it did before now i cant get it to jiggle at all.:tup:

man, take that thng to an exhasut shop and have it fixed for $20.-

its fixed, it dosent move at all, its better than it was before it broke

you dont feel it in the cab the way the exhaust is mounted?

i don't know you persoanlly but if you fix every little thing, that is wrong with your truck like that ,you are really going to loooooose a big amunt of money on the car. fix things good, and if the fixing can't be paid for, fix it for less, but this is one big point were you are cutting corners on small things, things like that..... and ghetto repairs will make your truck worth -1k for a $20 job. please fix it.......

It's cool if that's a temp fix, as in you already got something ordered or are on your way to the ex. shop. But if that's the way your gonna keep it, looks poopie dude.
