GP - 5 carbon fiber no a/c boxes

I will be making a small run of these carbon fiber non a/c boxes for the syty .I will set this gp for 5 to start but more will be made if need be .These will be 100% carbon fiber with a hi-uv clear gelcoat . This box design has been modified to give more clearance around the pass head and valve cover over the oem shape .This thread has more info about them here .http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=71561 I am looking to see whos on board this week so i can pick up enough materials and get things rolling.

This gp will be $225 plus shipping .Please post if you would like to be added to the list. This will be a perfect engine bay compliment to the hoods i will be making in early 2010 (cowl and oem), or if you already have one of those carbon fiber grill inserts Jhacking had made . Theres more to come in the future , i hope you all are pleased so far .

If I jump onboard can I get one without the square hole for the resistor pack & round hole for the fan?

On board as well.......without the resistor square cut out.....going to slide cut out over so I don't have to lenthen the oem wires.

Thanks guys , I dont mind leaving the face blank or only certain holes if you want . The first 5 spots have been taken ,but im going to let this run until friday for the same pricing . Since this did fill up on the first day , i guarantee tailgates will for sure be coming soon .:tup:

Looks good Mike. I dont want to jump off the main topic of the thread, but on the cowl hoods, are you making them to where they have more clearance and not the stock bracing?

Hey tim , no they will not have the stock bracing . Im running a 2 spacer on my edelbrock and need all the room i can get too .

Just to clarify, since my request sounds confusing once I read it again, I want the big hole for the fan, but not the small vent hole.

I will cut the small hole out as well..........just the blower motor hole will do.:tup:

Fridays update : I have the paid orders pulled and will start the others once these are done ,trimmed, and fitted . They still have some exterior finishing to be done to them , sanding off the release in some spots and wetsanding .Then im going to spray them with an automotive clear to make them shine . Ive found that just polishing the clear gelcoat doesnt do it for me .
