Hopping off the line

If some have experienced the hopping off the line, I was wondering what could be done to keep the tires planted. I just got my Nitto drag radials to replace the 4 year old Yoko's AVS ES 100's. The suspension I haven't touched since I have owned it for the last 4 years. I guess I will try the drag radials to see if that helps, if not, looks like this year will be suspension work.

Re: Hopping off the line

Some kind of traction bar should help with hopping if its due to spring wind up.

Video tape what its doing, and someone can finger it out.

mine did the same with the yokohama avs tires. I bought the battlebars, and the problem was solved although I havent REALLY done that much testing with it, it def. seemed to help

Kris from cbr told me that you can't use the fiberglass leafs with his battlebars and caltracs it seems it's all in the install whether or not your going to crack your fiber springs

Re: Hopping off the line

I would prefer the battle bars over the Cal tracs, but being able to run the flex-a-forms is key for the weight savings.

If someone can confirm that flex-a-forms and battle bars is do-able, I'm in for a GP :)

I am in, *IF* Kris can confirm for me that battle bars and fiberglass leafs will work together... and if the answer is "It depends on how you install them", I would need Kris to please clarify exactly what the correct process would be :)
