These parts will allow you to replace the hard line from the fuel filter forward & allow the installation of a fuel pressure sender after the filter.
Earl's parts used:

2x 991955 6 -an to 16mm power steering hose adapter $8.18 ea.
1x 100199 Gage adapter 6 -an male to 6 -an female $13.90 ea
2x 800106 6 -an Swivel Seal hose ends $7.86 ea.
10' 400060 6 -an Perform-O-Flex hose $8.18/ft

Total:
$127.78

I'm sure you could get away with less fuel line. I just did a rough measurement & decided 10' wouldn't leave me short.

You can get get this even cheaper buying online. I went direct to my local distributor & his prices are higher at his store than they are on his online store.

what fitting did you use at the pressure regulator ? I didnt see it in the 3 pics. I had to use a 120* fitting that I bent slightly. It fits a little too tight for my liking and was hoping you found something better . Thanks .

This is just for the supply line on the Ty which is for the most part stock. I'm not sure there would be any benefit to changing out the return line since the truck is stock unless the return line was fubar.

You don't have to follow the exact same path as the stock return line. Maybe something like this would work better?

Out of regulator

This attaches to the above and points straight back towards the firewall

Then this attaches to the above and makes a right hand turn towards the driver side

After that you could run the return line over & along the frame rail.

I found this nifty item to do almost the same thing
I like your setup better but this is also an option

it can go on the rail or after the filter it uses the same male female fuel fittings
also the collar rotates 360 degrees for tight fits
