if someone has one that the shell will be sent to scrap, i need some cuts off the floor pan.

vetteandtyphoon found one in the wrecking yard but i'm not sure if he will be able to get the stuff i need. if he does then great but if not i will need to find these elsewhere.

and yes the brackets are syclone and sonoma gt specific, blazer, typhoon, and extended cab are different

inner seat brackets welded to floor pan
rear bracket welded to the floor that the shifter bracket bolts to

X2. or just drill and bolt them in and make it watertight.

because thats ghetto, you ever want to pull your seats out better make sure you have a friend available to get underneath and hold the nut.....no thanks

the reason they came with brackets is because the floor is not level and those brackets have a certain height to maintain in order to keep the seat flat, in other words you just "bolt" them in your seat will be bent and sit crooked and it's uncomfortable, trust me i've been there before

floor pan is SPECIFICLY syclone sonoma gt because they were the only standard cab trucks to come with buckets. and yes the floor pan is different, so NO you cannot use the brackets off a blazer or extended cab floor. tried it already!

The floorpans may have different holes, but GM surely didn't have specific pans for 3000+ trucks. Sorry, the economy of scale doesn't kick in that fast for GM for a die. Fiberglass/urethane molds are another thing.

I've put buckets in an OBS s-10 and the brackets are extremly easy to build.

not sure but that is a good thought. i will check it out

Your right, the Syclone pan is not unique.
But the brackets for AV5 (hi back bucket seats) are unique for standard cab pick-up (body style 03). The AV5 bracket for all other body styles (06,16,53) appear to be the same PN for these (3) body styles, but different than the standard-cab. My parts fische is a bit ambiguous, but I'm pretty sure this ^ is correct.

Thank you Dave, precisely what i was trying to say, and yes you are 100% correct. i did some investigating at the wrecking yard for my own proof

I've bolted buckets into a bench equipped truck, and didn't have a single issue with them being uneven or whatnot.
