i got a johnson ic pump from rpm,it seemed to have a dead short as it blowed the fuse instantly.i thought i would try my second one by hooking it to 12 volts and it makes a horrible squealin noise.i can shake it around and it will stop the noise.is this because there is no coolant? or should i...

Re: bad charge cooler pump,i think fuse is good,i had power where i should on my harness goin to my relay,luckily when i bought my truck it came with 4 gm manuals:D

Re: bad charge cooler pump,i think thanks Aaron, i'm just wantin a stock pump,no i havnt hot wired it,i put the truck in diagnostic mode i was told that would make the pump run,when it didnt i jumped the terminals in the relay wiring according to my gm manual and still no run.
