Re: 80e donor vehicle those instructions are for a stock input shaft re splined to fit the stock 4472 trans case. not the 32 spline input shaft. the 32 spline input extends into the adapter. if you put the 2 input shafts side by side you will see what I mean.

Re: l conversion motor mounts question I used the rpm motor mounts, with their 4l80e cross member, it sits the engine 1" forward giving you more firewall clearance. are you turbo or n/a? 60e or 80e? single turbo or twins? I have a custom front accessory set up. I would recommend f body set up...

Re: 80e donor vehicle you will have to cut the ears off the 80e and if I remember correctly you have to change the shifter shaft to a shorter one, all the conversion items came in a G P by George Blake, shifter cable shifter lever, cross member, shifter bracket, if it is a 2wd van it should...

Re: reassembly a/c compressor is a sanden 7176 little one. the induction system hides a lot the 2000 degree coating should cut down on the heat.
