i think you're best off building up the bottom end (piston/rods,etc) then adding the turbo to give it the ooomph you're looking for.

Dumb question - Besides the cladding - is there any difference on the front end (bumper/grill/hood/side panels) of a 1991 S-Series truck, whether it's a S-10 or Sonoma? Just trying to broaden my search here to get my truck back on the road moving, as I don't want to drive it with a jacked up...

yea I wouldn't half booty the v8 swap if i go that way. might resto-mod the dash as well. we'll see.
