Re: Hood release issues/hood height Use vaseline, on everything...lol. My hood release is a bit stiff. Make sure it isn't kinked anywhere, I had that problem once.

Re: Emissions help, idle test Typical cat is 400 CPI, from what I read. I put on a 300CPI and felt no real adverse effects. Again, I hardly drive it so...Anyway, after the cat install the count dropped by 90 points. I needed 96, but what the hell, that's all I did.

Re: Emissions help, idle test After it failed, I put the cat back on and it failed by 6 bloody points. I didn't do anything else besides the cat. I haven't had a chance to mess with it since. I'd bet if I took 20 mins I could get it to pass, but I never drive it. If I were you I would check for...
