Re: Had some fun with an LS2 GTO there are now several turbo kits for the GTO's. I had one on mine before I sold it, they run very well, especially from a roll. No competition for most you guys from a standing start though! Jody

SL65 is an 11 second car period. And they actually leave pretty hard, though not as good as a SY/TY. Suffice it to say you'll have you're hands full! And if he's modded the computer they can get 740 HP and about 900 ft. lbs; a friend has one and that's his next mod. Jody

Cool truck you have! Reaction times do not get included in your e.t. though; you can sit there for five seconds, the timers don't start until you break the beam by leaving.

Because he only ran 3/4 throttle from the 60' mark to the end of the 1/4 mile. My guess is that he has a solid mid-11 second truck to run that well bogging on the launch, only leaving @ 4 psi, and only using 3/4 throttle. Jody

A 470 rwhp Lightning will run well into the 11's. Not calling BS and I understand the launch advantage, but he may have "over-estimated" his rwhp. Jody
