2001 whipple silverado vs. 99 light.

At the drags a whipplecharged shortbed regular cab chevy and a 99 lightning raced. The chevy was on stock tires and rims. he spun the hell out of the tires off the line. so did the lightning but not as bad. the out come wasnt good the lightning won but do you think if the chevy had hooked up better with better tires it would of won because at the finish line the lightning was like 5 feet ahead of the truck.

Not enough info to be able to predict the outcome. Was the L stock? What else did the Chevy have done to it? etc...

If it was just a mild psi blower the Chevy was running, and all else was stock against a stock L, I put my ca$h on the L. But that's just me.

What mph did both trucks run?

the lightning was stock.
the chevy had a hypertech thing that is supposed to help with the shift points and the air fuel mixture. The guy said that knocked off .2 of the time at the track . i dont know the mph cause it was at the track. could 18 inch rims and eagle f1's help that truck off the line or no?
