4l80e checkball question

Houseofperformance

switchhappy!!!
i had to change the outputshaft of my 4l80e and when assembling it again i noticed 2 missing checkballs (top left on the pic) - i didn´t touch the checkballs and i´m pretty certain i didn´t loose them. is there a slight possibility that they where left out fom the beginning? the trany was built by brian hartman and has never run, i´m the second owner. i tried to contact brian via his homepage to get some infos about the built but he didn´t respond - is he still an active boardmember?
please help me out!!

That's perfect. Leave it just like that. It's like that because of the shift kit Brian put in it.

Also, I'm sending you a bolt for the center support. You can NOT reuse that bolt. It will break. It's a one time torque type of bolt.
