What year of 4l80e would be good to go with and what type of converter would be good to go with for about 1500 HP thanks any help would be very much appreciated.:tup:

Some people disagree on years, for example Rossler won't build anything for a lot of HP on a newer than 96 case, he will only use the old cases.

For 500hp it doesn't matter on year.

Ive used personally Yank and Coan with good results.

Ive got a good core to start with here in Sherwood Park if your interested.

Rear lube, came out of an H1 hummer that was converted to duramax/allison combo.
