Found a good site for modifying shift points

Has lots of info and pictures regarding modification of shift points for the 700 via governor tweaking and the fella tells about how he went through the pressure checks and such. Has info regarding telling what type of trans it is by the serial number as well.

the info there looks great,

the only thing i got from the shift point artical, is that changing weights will have a big impact on all shift points, and that you will have to tinker with it till the end of time, swaping weights and springs untill you get a nice combination of WOT shift points and part throttle shift points.

What was nice was that he laid out all the springs. Showed you where they were at. Told you the spring force then made a chart showing the combination of springs and what force they would add cumulatively. Then he gave examples how he worked through the dilemma. So if you are really close and need to move it up just a little, you NOW knew which combo to stick in to raise it closer as opposed to randomly trying different combinations. Some of his links were really good too.
I like it anyway :D
