Ignorance, The Redneck, the race that wasn't

The weekend before T-giving break a buddy of mine was renting NFS Hot Pursuit 2. I was going to jet on over there and take the extra long way to see if I could stir up any trouble. I came up to a light, unfortunately, not a good one for racing. not too far past this light is a sharp, acsending turn with a NASTY dip right at the beginning of the turn. it's too easy to bottom out and with enough speed, one could probably skip over to the next lane. anyhow, i'm alone at this light then something with NO HOOD :roll: pulled up next to me. It was a primered POS neon. i think the wheels stuck out a bit too to give it that extra cool look. :fist: anyway, light turns green i go slow off the line, then he guns it. so i gun it. he quickly appears in my rear view, but then i had to jam on the brakes for the dip. i cut over to his lane because there is a car ahead. i slow way down to normal speed because there are cars around. he of course is riding my ass so i do a qick brake tap to let him know i don't like the fact he's on my ass. he guns it and goes around me, i blow off my BOV when he gets next to me just to say Fuh-Q. i saw him tap his brake lights which i think meant he beat me or something...moron. so i followed him. he pulled over in the mall lot and got out of his car and arrogantly swaggered over to my window. i rolled down my window and asked if he really wanted to race. he asked what i had done to it. i said it was stock blah blah blah. so he says, "so you're only running 7lbs of boost." i should have lied and said yeah, but i snotily said, "no, 14." (I was actually running 16 at the time) but he couldn't see the chip box. even so he probably wouldn't have been able to read it. anyway, after i told him i was running 14lbs he all of a sudden had this nervous look in his face and thought long and hard. he said he would run. we were going to find a light on the stretch of road i've done my other races on. we left and the idiot doesn't even wait for me and i got stuck in traffic and got stuck at every light so by the time i finally get to where we were supposed to go there's no sign of him. i parked for a bit and finally saw him again, the dumbass revs at me as he goes by. so i went to track him down and i couldn't find him. i don't know if he chickened out or what. i wanted to really kill that dude. i started to spank him once, you'ld think he would have gotten the idea then. people's arrogance and ignorance really annoy me. sorry, i just had to vent...
