First things first. I would like to thank Rich Eartly and Brian Green for all their hard work and dedication to my truck over the past 2.5 years, guys I NEVER could have done this without you, you guys kick so much ass. Secondly I have to give a big thank you to Mike Lee, after chasing down supposed problems we narrowed it down to the SpeedPro, MSD Box, or some faulty wiring. Without me even asking Mike was nice enough to offer to send me his Speedpro Box. As it turned out I needed to take him up on his offer and he next dayed me his box. Well after two months of banging our heads against the wall and breaking a few things  I hooked up Mike's box and my truck started right up! Thanks again man you saved us a lot of unnecessary work. Mike has been great to work with and I would highly recommend talking with him if you are taking on any SYTY project of your own.
For those of you who don't know me I've been around for over 7 years and despite a huge list of broken parts and a lawsuit I still love these trucks. The whole reason I started this project was because I found out I had cancer in June of 1999 and I said screw it you only live once why not pursue a dream. Well 2.5 years later, a lot of cursing, bruised knuckles, $$$$, frustration, help, imagination, more $$$$, and sweat we have something that can finally move under its own power. For those of you out there either doing OddFire projects or thinking of doing one please feel free to contact me so I can help you steer clear of some of the potential pitfalls. Don't ever give up on your projects keep at it and it will pay off in the end. Hope to have new pics and maybe some video up soon.
