Re: Powerglide to transfer case

Let me know if you need another one, I have a nice working PG aluminum that leaks some I am wanting to ditch for a 700 or 60e or some cash.

I ended up going with a FTI powerglide with a Reid case. Straight cut 1.80 gears. Waiting for a 3/4 spacer and it will be complete.

Pretty wild. Got a roll bar in the plans? Don't know nothin' 'bout PGs (other that the 2 speed part) but with a high stall for launch and a lockup converter wouldn't you, in effect, have a "3rd" gear?

Sure would like to see this when you're done.

It will have a light weight chromeoly cage. My son will be building. Hes a certified cage builder in the rally industry. Race weight with me in it 3200lbs or less. Goal is 8.60s or less.i
