Anyone interested in using a GM TCM from an old 6.5L Diesel for a trans controller? Allot less $$$ and 100 times better software and controls. I have investigated the aftermarket TCM's and would not use one. I still select the GM TCM. And YES it works 100%, has the RIGHT pressures, protection, and correct diagnsotics. If it fails, the TCM you can get one anywhere. Where do you get your aftermarket on fixed? Will AutoZone and others carry them, NO.
TCM, you make the wiring harness, DRAC, Electric speedo or a motor to drive your cable speedo, TPS, Engine speed derived from a 1991 GM Truck V-6 or V-8 ignition module. All parts I used are readliy ava at most parts stores,.

It doesn't work on Sy / Ty trannies unless you switched out to a 4L60E or a 4L80E
