Tip or tricks for installing trans controller...

Beavis

Still plays with trucks
Anyone got any? I am about to install the TCI controller. It is the old TCI unit (rectangle plug) if that helps. I thought about putting it under the pass seat (typhoon) and was wondering what tips or tricks are recomended or a walk through that someone did. Or if anyone recomends other install options, i would like to hear them. Every thing else is done, this is the last part to drive it and hope to be driving tomorrow night.

I have mine under my drivers seat with no interference . Making the smallest hole possible is the big thing , its a smooth install other than that .

I always run the wires up next to the shifter cable wires through that grommet. No holes to drill, just a grommet to rework a bit.

Older TCI unit seems to be troublesome for a few of us. Mike Hardman's ty was discovered to have a harness/controller issue. (Its at RPM Trans in Indy now).
