Torque converter removal 4l80E

I'm having trouble removing the TC from the input shaft. I never had such a problem with the 700R4. This is my first attempt at separating the TC from the 4l80E since I purchased it from George Blake. I need to get it off to get a measurement off the input shaft so I can have my new T-56 manual transmission completed.

FWIW, I need the length of the input from the transfercase mount flange that bolts to the adapter to end of input.

It should just slide off. The 80e convertor has 2 flat spots vs slots the 700 has. My thought is the billet input shaft you have it tight on the convertor. I would carefully pry easy on both sides and see if it will pop out. No reason it should be stuck.

If you jam up the o-ring on the tip of the input shaft it can feel like that . If you cannot remove it with slight prying , you may have the issue Jeff mentioned .
