Re: SHould I put black RTV on trans pan in addition to gasket? When I put the tci pan on my previous syclone I was told by a friend who is a mechanic to put a thin layer of grease on the pan to hold the gasket in place. I did and I never had any issues with leaks. My pan required no trimming.

I have reached a time in my life where I think it's time to let the Syclone go to a new home. I bought the Sy apx 6 years ago with 9200 miles (14xxx, now) and believe I'm the third owner. This truck is in great shape and is stock with a few exceptions..extreme rear sway bar, ft. prop shaft...
