S10 Rear Diff Measurements - SyTy/SGT

Simple questions.

Is the 4wd s10 rear truly wider than the 2wd rear and if so by how much? I have read that they are about 4" wider.

Is our rear diff a 2wd or 4wd s10 rear? I assume 4wd but want to be sure.

Are the first and second gen s10 rears the same width?

I know these trucks have 3.42 gears, I thought I read somewhere that most 4wd s10s are 3.23 gears, and there were also 3.08s in some s10s but I think only 2wd.

What models could have had an 8.5" 10 bolt installed besides the zr2s and extremes?

I'm hoping someone may have this info or a link to lots of s10 rear info. TIA.
