Re: Sy 678

Got my bumper on. And it has this nasty gap.

Also purchase a KB intake setup.Bailed out on my other idea which was making a custom Alum intake setup. Played around and pretty much had to remove some parts and install others. Also purchased my battery (small AGM style)and side terminals to adapt the original stuff to new. so I did not have to butcher anything.
Got some more mandrel bent 304 stainless in 3 inch I will TIG something up.

Re: Sy 678

Looking for a favor, Check post # 23- last picture to the right of the wiper assembly theres that braided copper wire. Where does it go to. I hooked it up to something I think I should not have.

For some reason when I go to start, or lets say its running. the truck has a left turn signal that stays on. and the Interior dome light is also staying on.

Not sure what is up but I dont have a batt- hooked up but that seems to be it would def drain the battery.
anyone have any ideas on where to look. Also been looking for this spoken Tan/black wire to put the truck into "0" timing. Wheres the wire I disconnect located.

Re: Sy 678

Sounds like a ground wire to me. The tan/blk wire is behind the top edge of the carpet in the passenger footwell. Against the firewall.

Re: Sy 678

Well Its been a while since I have updated my truck thread. Been nothing but problems. I could not figure out photo bucket was complaing about that, but Changed browser and everything works.

Left off last driving the truck. It looked like this heading out the driveway-

Driveability and performance was POOR- I checked into the o2 sensor and problems further stemmed from that point.

I started disassembling things.

On the same Note, I started to change my plans. I collected a few parts over the last 2 weeks

Messed around for a while and got injectors on, and new FPR

Re: Sy 678

Completed my other project which was custom downpipe fabrication. Went better than I thought. Always wanted to work with mandrel bends and do something like this. 1st time.
