Re: Official Nats Racing Results

Maybe I'm missing something here, but how'd Dabney win Rental car class? Renz's time is much lower....is this for the slowest rental car?

rental/tow is a bracket racing class.
I lost mainly becuase my stupid ass staged out of the groove and i spun hard off the line. Dabney beat me across the line by about 1.5 feet. It was a great race though, don't mind losing that closely.

Re: Official Nats Racing Results

Is a 15.05 the best pass that Dad Klinger ran???? I was really hoping Dennis would win the pure stock class this year.

Re: Official Nats Racing Results

I think he's got a vacuum leak somewhere, sounds like it. Never broke out of the 15's all day. And he just put new brake pads on and they wouldn't hold on the line. He was leaving at like 3psi.

those who hadn't raced before, or who asked for help...got plenty. Also remember that the times listed aren't their best times that they had of the day, but rather what they got when clenching the title.

Yeah, I told Dad to do a parking brake launch since the new Performance Friction pads slipped at 3psi - either he forgot or he just didn't want to listen to me. Gotta get them brakes looked at till next year. Anything above 2.00 and you're just not trying hard enough.

Mike,
We definitely had the toughest class at the event, that is kinda sad but...
You really pushed me to be on my game and it was a great race - thanks.
And yes, I do like them tight.

Re: Official Nats Racing Results

I had problems at the track. I wasn't able to hold more than 2-3psi on the line before the truck went forward. Then, on my final run, I had the truck in 2nd and at 5200rpm my rev limiter kicked in and shut the truck down, I was able to slam it into third and broke my shift cable. My brother and I tried to bleed the front brakes but the zirc fitting was broke off in the caliper. I did have a tech lesson before I raced by Dennis, Rodney, and Jimmy. I had a 60' best of 1.924 that day despite my break problem. I wish I could spin my tires like Jeremy did, that is Awesome stuff.
