Mild bowtie build

Bowtie block, steel crank, eagle rods (L19 bolts), wasco custom piston, vortec heads.
+
BS3, 4l80E, ATR headers with turbonetics T72

Not sure, I bought the crank here on the fourm, that person bought it from someone else. I think its from crankshaft specialist in Texas, maybe.

Hi Denny

How did the crank balance out. I know some of them needed a bunch of weight / other didn't .

I don't believe the crank is balance yet, the engine builder is waiting on the piston.


BTW- the engine is being built by Lab Engine Specialists in Lindenhurst NY.

Got the wesco pistons, needs to be sent for coating

the shop had a hard time balancing the crank, like 4 mallory weight and still had to go with a 454 damper and flexplate

The block needed a lot of work.

The bearing was problem because the journals on the crank is not square at the corners. The builder is still uspset that I bought this crank, there were so much work had to be done to it.
I dont remember half of what the builder is saying to me, all I hear and see is $$$$.

I am planing on putting on an accusump, don't want to mess this engine up

Got the pistons and coated, top and side.
