"Blue and Silver" 4k PICS

Mentioned here in Dennis Kirban post. No pix available yet, but if interested, email Dennis directly. I know Dennis pretty well and he is geographically close, so I could eventually check out the Ty for someone interested.

The 1,600 mile GN looks pretty rough...Ty could be same sitch, but who cares...

http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/car...600-miles.html

Edit: I contacted Dennis about me going up and taking some photos and getting more info. Stay tuned...

EDIT 1/23/12 - I DID NOT TAKE THESE PHOTOS. Waiting for interior and engine. No roof rack.

Years ago when I attended a meet at kirbans with my ty I spoke to a guy that said he had a blue ty with 400 or so miles on it. He said he bought it at reedmans new and drove it a bit and then just parked it. Not sure if its the same guy but sounds like it could be. This was like 4 or so years ago so I would think the miles could have changed. He did also say he had a similar mile gn and other cars. Said he knew Kirban also.

low miles and stored properly worth money Low miles and stored in a barn improperly Not worth what owner thinks that car is gonna need a full resto and the underside is gonna be nasty

That seems to be the case with the GN. Interior looks great but exterior and bay look like 100K.

More than cleaning. Resto. Read the TB thread...there are some rust issues and the car was stored in an UNheated garage all these years. That means every hose would have to be replaced. And who knows what mice might have done to hoses, wires, etc. Shame.

School me on a heated garage--- What does 1 look like and just how do you keep it heated with that really big opening at the end ?
