Wasn't the marine kid that did the burnouts, died, then his brother got the truck...wasn't that in Idaho? Or am I making that up in my head? I know the one thread I was thinking of no longer exists...

I believe it is the same truck. Cladding is much lighter in color than stock, which one of the easy things to point out about the truck.

Jimmy will find this thread and settle it im sure.

I had already made a deal before this thread was posted with this guy and suposed to go out early next week to pick it up. Of course i didnt do any research on it so any info would be great. I feel like he is honest with me and seems to be a good guy. He sent a chit load (20-25) pics and it looks great in everyone and the ones i have asked for. So Please Jimmy work your magic.

I thought the one from the burnout kid was bought by T-Bone. He then flipped it and sold it to some collector in CA.

The 57,000 mile one I bought, cleaned up and resold was purchased from the collection of a deceased 64 y.o. AA pilot who owned it for quite a long time. Not this Garnet for sure although the cladding color is about the same as the one I had....

Meaty, did he give you the truck #? I am guessing if you ask, its 1519.
IIRC, when his brother died, his parents did a lot of work to it to fix things and gave it to his brother Zak. When I get into work, ill check and see if I still have the facebook messenger messages and see what all info I had from the conversation.

Well actually it was my brothers and I do belive that he bought it from a bank. I do not know when he bought it. He past away a year ago and my parent took the car and rebuilt it. They could not sell it so they gave me the truck kinda like a birthday present, I drive the truck everyday and love it. But someday it can be a bad reminder of my brother.
