Rare 1992 GMC TYPHOON Truck
2 Door - 4.3 V6 TURBO
LHD & 4x4 AWD ( All wheel Drive )
53,000 Miles with Leather Interior
MOT until Dec. 2011 & Taxed till End of April 2011
You're looking at one of the fastest factory trucks on the road (worlds fastest SUV at the time)
only 2500 were built. Based on the GMC JIMMY & virtually the same as a Syclone.
This one runs and drives strong & is in very good condition.
It's a Turbocharged 4.3Ltr V6 (bulletproof) that goes like a rocket & will glue you to the seat!
Vehicle has been fitted with a 3 inch exhaust system which sounds more like a V8 than V6,
A lovely deep rumble but not too loud to up-set the neighbours.
Plus this has a SyTy 3 Bar Ultimate Chip fitted to give you manual adjustment on power required,
this is easy as it’s a digital meter in the glove box which you just press a button
to set the engine to give you more Turbo Boost & power if required.
You can drive this vehicle Fast & Furious or use as a daily driver offering versatility of being
a reliable 4 seater family vehicle or 2 seater estate/van.
Fuel consumption completely depends on how you drive it,
I’ve driven this most days to work so hasn’t had a hard life by me.
Someone has also fitted a Push button start as apparently they can be prone
for ignition starting problems, so this one is on the button every time.
Also has a removable Tow Bar which I’ve not used, but may be an advantage to someone.
The Air-con has been disconnected so doesn’t work.
It also has different wheels & tyres from standard but I do have originals which are in need of re-ferb.
Apart from that it’s pretty standard & has a pile of receipts of the money
spent since imported in 2003 including all MOT’s since.
I’m reluctantly selling this to fund a Corvette Stingray I’m restoring.
