'Cause I did  . We were driving back, about 1/3 of the way home, when an emergency bathroom related pit stop was deemed nessicary by my wife. We were caravaning with Vince (flamed Sy) and were behind him with less than one mile until the exit. I down shifted the SS into 3rd at ~80 MPH (3rd gear goes to 103 ), and flew by Vince and his dad so that they would know to exit. I look down, and I'm doing 105-ish when I notice a KS state patrol driving the other way. Look in the mirror, and he is on his brakes signaling that he was going to turn across the median.
I rush down the on ramp which the cop can't see due to a hill, and park at the gas station. Wifey runs inside, Vince pulls in next to me and I explain that she had to go bad. See the cop comming down the off ramp. Start thinking to myself if Kansas points will transfer to Colorado points (anyone know?). Cop pulls into the pump next to me, and I'm predending like I have no idea that anything is wrong.
He gets out of his car, and calls me over. He says that he clocked one of us (Vince or me) doing 100+, but he was going to let me go becuase he couldn't for sure tell which one it was, although he knew it was actually me. I walk over to Vince in his Suburban and tell him the story while. By then my wife, unaware that there ever was a cop anywhere in this story, comes out of the gas station. She can't see me becuase his Suburban is blocking her view, so all she sees is the SS with a cop driving away, and me nowhere in site. The look on her face was priceless :rotf:
So, anyone else have a similar story?
