Standing up in a wedding on the 26th:rant: Is it worth it to drive out for any Sunday festivities? or maybe Friday?

I'm going to try to attend, like I mentioned in the other thread. Yes? No? We'll see when the time come nearer. The joys of self employment as a trucker leased to a demanding, but fair, company. I didn't take my annual winter break, so I may swing it. Again, "definite" maybe. I am interested, fo the record.

It would be worth it for Friday if you could make it out by late afternoon/early evening. Probably not so much for Sunday.

I'd like to bring my ATV's up as well. the heavily modded '89 Honda Pilot and the banshee or the Polaris Scrambler. I can yank a ton of ATV's safely from Chitown if that ATV pre-Homecoming goes down.

Unless you reached Super Duper Star status and hitch equipped your Syty :)

Crossing my fingers. As an owner operator, I still don't have the freedom one would think :)

I'd love to go riding though. What does a MI sticker cost, like 20 bucks or so, or do they require them? I got the flags and lights, so that's no problem. My piped Banshee (otherwise stock) gets down, but the Pilot has a few mods that make the Banshee do work, Son!

If I go, I could definitely haul a crapload of ATV's/Bikes for the Chitown peeps, and prolly at no charge but a beer or two to avoid any inconvenience. Those would be easy to load and in a convenient location for them to bring them to me the day before. And, beers drank after riding in case I wanna hit any triples, which I probably will NOT. Used to race a KX80 back in the day and BMX for 8 years, but have more than mellowed down (to say the least). I hope I can make it happen for my own sanity and sweetness for others. Trailering crap back and forth can be a pain when bringing a SyTy.

*Forewarning...I'm a definite maybe until a week before at the latest.*

Edit---- Don't PM me now about bringing your dirt machines up, I probably won't respond quickly. I'm kind of wishy-washy, but have good intentions! Ok, what the hell, PM me...

Wish I could go, but the company policy of "no Saturdays off" stands in the way of it. Would be a nice way to ease into the gatherings before attempting to go to NATS someday.

Just cause they are calling for it doesn't mean we will get it. Then on the other hand we might get snow too...... it is Michigan. :D

Maybe this year you guys can talk tony into clearing out the wash bays....so we can get the trucks inside that don't see rain if it does!

You guys worry too much. The weather will be fine:

(From www.noaa.gov)

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Light and variable wind.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 86.

Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68.

It's summer. There's a 30% chance of thunderstorms pretty much ever day of the week.
