has anybody used enginetech parts

I am rebuilding a stock engine for my syclone for smog reasons and I dont want to spend alot of money in doing that. I would rather spend it on the motor that I do not have to smog.
I have found a rebuild kit from enginetech and I want some opinions. Thanks.

Rebuild kits don't exist for SyTy's.

Never heard of Enginetech, sounds cheap to me.

You get what you pay for. Paying less now means paying more over time to do it right.

EngineTech is actually pretty good chit (compared to OEM). DON"T use thier pistons in a Sy or a Ty!!!! They're cast and not forged. (read: GRENADE)

If you want to save money, you can do a basic rebuild, but don't skimp on the rod & pistons. Use atleast forged piston (TRW) and stronger (L35)connecting rod, Tucker Auto parts I am sure could supply you a basic reasonably strong rebuild kit at a good price.
