Nats is almost upon us, and there are 2 weeks left in registration. After August 31st (we must have your money by then) the only registration is on-site for MORE MONEY. You've already figured out that you don't want to miss Nats and our first 8-second truck, so why don't you take a minute to reigster, and get that check in the mail, and save yourself some money!

It's gonna be a great Nats - old faces, new faces, fast trucks from other countries. For those of you who've been saying "I'll go next year", THIS IS NEXT YEAR. If you're really into SyTy's, you owe it to yourself to be at the Nats this year. If you miss this one, you'll be kicking yourself for years!

Dad and I are really looking forward to seeing everyone again - we're missing our family reunion for this, but the Nats is like a different type of family reunion. (Would I rather go to the track or throw horseshoes??)

Nats - you go for the trucks, you come back for the people. If you haven't been to a Nats before, come this year and you'll understand.

As a general rule, we do get quite a few that will register when they are there on Friday.
As Aaron said, you do pay more when you wait till the last minute. So why not save yourself some extra money and register before?

Sunday afternoon a bunch of us were BS'ing in the parking lot of the Doubletree and Will(Colorado_Will) said that he had been to every nationals and had never preregistered for any of them(I think thats what he said-hope I don't have that wrong). I felt bad and offered to find an old computer so he could get online and register for the next Nats. Seriously though, if you are pretty sure you are going, please register now. Some people may decide to go based on how many people will be there. So, more register-more show up.

Yeah, I don't know that Will has ever pre-registered, and I think he's been at all of them. But that's Will being Will. :D

If memory serves, I think someone said that 30-40% of our registrations are walk-ups. Imagine how many more people that are on the fence that might come if they knew more people were coming. It just snowballs. Not only that, but it does help us get sponsors and coverage of the event - they look at the "who's attending" site too. Sponsor involvement means more/better prizes for us to pass along to registrants, and coverage (like GMHTP) helps us get even more sponsors.

Also noteworthy - pre-registering gets you a t-shirt. If you register on-site, we may not have enough shirts for you, or at least the size you need. (We try to make sure we're covered, but we don't want to get stuck with a ton of extra shirts.)

I've heard there are some pretty radical trucks coming, and along with some people you might be surprised to see. It'll be here before you know it - register today!

Heed warning that if you are not PRE-Registered you are not guaranteed a T-shirt.

Orders are based on the "registered" count plus a small margin.

In the past, as you can see on ebay, we went way over on the T-shirts and still have too many sitting around that had to be paid for out of the budget.

Just know that by pre-registering you are guaranteed your Tshirt in your size.
If you register on site there are NO GUARANTEES.
If that is an acceptable risk, go ahead and wait.

I'll be the one putting my truck back together in the parking lot late Thursday night before we can even get it off the trailer.
Nothing like waiting until the last minute.

Those without paypal better get on it. If you are going to need to send in a check, you'd better get it in the mail in the next couple days...

Registration #s have jumped pretty good in the last few days.

Keep them coming folks online registration ends real soon.

What he meant was 4 more DAYS!

There was definitely a storm brewing here in the last few days getting ready for Nats.
From what I hear its been goin on strong over in the KY/IN area as well.

Get ready for the biggest Storm in years to hit the midwest... :tup:

There is only a day or two left(less than two). If you don't have paypal, find a friend who does. It looks like we've hit 90 registered, it would be nice to see it go over 100.

Get those last-minute registrations in NOW! If a truck from Sweden is coming, you have no excuse to miss out. Let's get that pre-reg count over 100!

Guys,

I am in Brisbane Australia right now on business and plan to leave on Weds Morn next week. Will fly to LAX and hopefully on then to Denver, where I will pick up my Ty from my mechanics shop. I will then hopefully then drive to KC for the event. This is all kinda tight, so I will not register until I get there. I have limited access to the internet at this time, so I hope I can find the Doubletree # so I can make a res.

Contact one of the Denver crowd and have them sign you up. There is still one day left. Have them paypal for you and repay them when you pull into KC. I would, but I don't have paypal.

Just a quick and friendly reminder that TODAY is the final day for pre-registration for the Nats. If you haven't yet registered - or if you've registered but haven't sent payment yet -please do so immediately. The site will automatically shut down at midnight tonight. If your payment hasn't been received by then, your pre-registration will be cancelled and you'll have to re-register at the event at the higher rate and without the guarantee of receiving an event shirt at check-in.

We're almost at 100, just need a few more!

I may not be able to hook you up with a hotel room, but I may be able to help you out with pre-registering. I may be able to paypal your registration fee and you can just pay me back at Nats. Let me know :tup:
