How do I adjust the wastegate???

I'm getting too much boost and need to adjust the wastegate,which way do I twist the rod to reduce boost????

remove the WG rod from the flapper arm, you should have 7/8 pin covered by the rod, or preloaded. If you are getting too much boost then you want to make it longer.

Thanks guys,didn't help though.Turns out using the stock Wastegate solenoid was my problem.Got a boost gauge,disconnected the solenoid,adjusted to desired boost level and it's good to go.Thanks for the replies.
