Vortec heads?

I have the intake modded. And the heads are in the shop being ported how do you line up the heads and intake to drill the holes for the intake? Tried the search and couldnt find anything.

Use a 1203 felpro gasket and line up the ports, mark the holes in the gaskets and then drill and tap the holes in the heads. Using a VGS or mill to drill th heads is best to ensure they are straight.

you'll want to use a 5/16" end mill prior to tapping 3/8-16, otherwise a drill bit will walk and you will end up with an oblong hole..
