Lindberg 1/25 scale Typhoon Model

I've seen a few Syclone 1/25 scale Models on ebay lately. I remember when Lindberg Co. brought this and the Typhoon model out years ago. Still kick myself for not buying the Typhoon one. (I purchased the Sy) Doe's anyone here maybe know someone or have one of the Typhoon model kits they may want to sell? I would love to have one thats still in the box, unstarted. I've looked for years with no luck, so I thought I would ask you guys. Thanks!

I have searched a lot. Never seen a Ty one.

Lindberg never made a 1/25th Syclone or Typhoon. Revell made a 1/25th Sy, and Lindberg made a 1/20th Sy, but neither made the Typhoon in plastic. There were resin kits that combined with a Revell 1/25th Sy kit to make a Typhoon, but they required quite a bit of custom work and they are long out of production. Supposedly the guy who was making them still has the mold but won't sell it and has no interest in making more.

To my knowledge, there was never a Ty model. And I've looked.

These are links to other forums that got me thinking there was one made.
Also, I could've sworn My local hobby shop had 'em back when I was 13 or 14 years old.
I do remember buying the Lindberg 1/20 Syclone and 1/20 '93 Pontiac Firehawk. Lindberg also had the Sonoma Highrider ZR2, S10 SS, Jimmy, and an '88 '89 S-15 Baja truck. If I can remeber all of these, then I swear they made the Ty. Or It could be wishful thinking like you all say. It's been too long since then.

I've got a couple sy models, the Lindberg 1/20 scale ones. I'm pretty sure there was never a ty model, and if there was I'd probably pay good money for it. Or even a 1st gen blazer or jimmy model. If anyone comes across one let us know!!!

I've got a couple sy models, the Lindberg 1/20 scale ones. I'm pretty sure there was never a ty model, and if there was I'd probably pay good money for it. Or even a 1st gen blazer or jimmy model. If anyone comes across one let us know!!!

I have never seen a first gen Blazer/Jimmy model kit.

I have seen an RC car Blazer body,but that's it.

I know Bolink made an RC Syclone body for their pan cars, and if I recall they also made a Typhoon. Even cooler, its radio control. I would still like to know whether they made a 1/20 1/24 or 1/25 Typhoon, I could swear ive seen one before. Ya know, it wont be long before ertl or muscle machines makes a metal body 1/18 scale SY and TY for their muscle car collection.

it'll never happen, one of the local guys that used to own a typhoon made a huge binder full of information that would be needed to make a scale model and every company he approached turned it down, said there wasn't enough interest..

It's real. 1/25 1st gen S-blazer resin conversion kit. From long-defunct All American Modelers. Haven't seen one on ebay in a long time.
