Got figured out now...



My buddy fcame by last night to help me play with the Tyclone. We finished lowering the rear of the truck tonight. 3" Bell Tech drop leaf springs and 2" blocks. We put in Bilstein Sport shocks all around. 5" total rear drop. Junior started on the front and after bustin a couple cheap c-clamps, gave up till I buy him some real tools. hehe Meanwhile I was strippin the wrecked Typhoon and gettin ready to move all the good stuff over to the Tyclone.

So we got the front lowered with my Bell Tech lowering keys. had to make a cutom ground c-clamp for the job, but it worked out ok. Looks MUCH better now!

So if I want to lower my rear 2" in my Ty, and I have these Belltech springs, what would you suggest? 1" blocks?

My Jimmy is sittin on 3" springs and 2" blocks amking a total of 4" drop. So your Ty would sit the same.
I would personally just buy a 2" block for your truck. Your stock springs are 2" and your block is 2" giving you a 4" drop.

Here it shows a nice ride height with the 1" block and the springs. I wonder why yours looks taller? It must be the cladding.

Normal Leaf + 2 inch Block (16 inch)

Lowered Leaf (16 inch)

Lowered Leaf (17 inch)

Lowered Leaf + 1inch BellTech Angled Block (17 inch)

Front Coilover + Lowered Leaf + 1inch BellTech Angled Block (17 inch)

A 2" block with the Belltech springs, might be too much for me.
