Im sure someone on here has a stock one they'd sell you, but youd be better off with a gilbert shaft if you have the money. Some of the vendors on here sell those, they run about $400

I have a rebuilt one sitting in my shop, I have about $100 in parts in it (new universals, boot, grease, paint, ect), the only thing I never got a chance to do was bring it to a driveshaft shop to get rebalanced. If youre interested let me know.Mike said:

I've got a new Gilbert a customer backed out on. $380 shipped to the lower 48. Comes with new seal and bolts. If your really strapped for money, take Morgan up on his offer first.

Driving RWD can be fun, I did it for about two weeks after I broke my stocker until I got my Gilbert. If you are the type that likes tire smoke, you are going to need a pair of rear tires soon :lol:.
The biggest thing to remember is to SET YOUR PARKING BRAKE because without the propshaft in, the truck will ROLL AWAY without it! This can be a big problem if you park on any kind of an incline...

December when I actually got it to start for the hooters meet. Its 10 months past due for inspection and currently sitting on my front lawn with 2 flat back tires and probably still wont start :tup:jjorgensen52 said:

Put in a gilbert and forget about it. Normal driving/racing wont brake a gilbert.
Go with George's shaft
He adds a yoke seal and the bolts. easy install when you have the right tools. Took me about 1 hour labor and 2 hours to finding the seal and sockets. (did not buy from george the first time.

It should not "POP" and move. Something else is wrong too if it "pops". It's possible you've stretched chain in the transfer case and it's popping over the cog. What will happen is the Viscous clutch is getting no differential force applying it and it will just keep opening until the truck slowly rolls up against somthing to stop. My wife did this at college. Truck rolled about 8' over the course of the 5 hours she was there.
