Accidents in the SyTy World

So last Wednesday I gave a co-worker a ride home from a catered afternoon of food, drink and bowling our department was kind enough to treat us to. Actually I gave two co-workers home but the first one I dropped off was just fine. The second guy however had way too much to drink and proceeded to vomit all over the inside and outside of my Ty!!!!! I asked him if he was going to make it and he said yes so I didn't think much of it. We get a block and a half from his place and he just explodes!!!! The window was all the way down and he still got it all over the inside of the truck. I couldn't believe it. So I drop him off and have to drive home with a stank smelling and looking Ty. People were staring because there was vomit all the way down the passanger door. I cleaned it all up as soon as I got home but of course I wasn't pleased about it at all.

Anyone else have an unfortunate experience like this in your Sy or Ty?

HAHAHA I have puked down the side of MANY cars. Being a passenger there is NO way I could puke on the inside of someone elses car. Just the smell of puke makes ME want to puke. I feel for you. Did it stain?! I think your friend owes you a tank of gas

BTW I have puked BETWEEN my legs in a bag while driving a handful of times in my SY .... uhh did I say driving drunk :tdown: ---

a few days after i got my ty i let the wife take it to her work to have it detailed (she works for a honda dealer). i have know this truck since the day it was new and the previous owner never smoked and NEVER let ANYONE smoke in his house or cars. knowing this i didnt smoke in it either. so low and behold here comes the now ex-wife (i told here not to smoke in it ( :lol: ) barrling down the street windows up a/c blowin ice cubes outta the vents and you probably gueesed it by now.... A F'IN NEWPORT HANGING OUTTA HER MOUTH... needless to say she has since been banished from both the 59 and the ty. so yes i cant say my ty was never smoked in any more , it was smoked in once....

I had a cat crap and puke in my old Sy once....long story!!! All in the map pockets, floor, seats, dash, GROSS!!!!

Your friend owes you big! I would have stopped on the side of the road and told him to clean it up....nasty!!!

Coming home from Vermont last weekend my daughter puked twice in the car, both times on my coats....lovely. The smell

This may be really bad but if you are drunk, then no-way are you geting in as I am one of those that will puke at the smell of it. I will be a nice guy and call a taxi for you, or I can hog tie you to the bed and/or roof rack.

One day on my lunch break,I took a co-worker for a ride in my Ty.I just got on it a couple of times from a roll,and he thought it was cool.Then I asked him if he wanted me to launch it.He said sure.
It was then that I realized I had just opened a can of coke,so I tell him I better not launch it,because I didn't wanna spill my drink. He says "I'll hold it"

hehehehehe :evil:

So he's holding the can,I spool it up and launch it HARD.Look over at him and he's pouring coke down the front of his shirt. :haha:.

Got a little on my seat,no biggie.It was fun watching him go back into the plant soaking wet.

I did a launch in my old Sy and had a can of Mt.Dew in the cup holder....flippin thing hit the rear glass...kid you not! It was not open thank God!

Had the back window pop open while the tranny was spraying fluid ... not so good, messy to clean that up. Many times when I was younger I can remember driving in the Ty and having my dad's travel mug go flying (us kids were suppose to hold it :lol: ) and dump hot coffee/tea on someone

Ya know my dad does the same thing to me and I'm almost 21!! Does it ever stop??? Likely not and with the useless cup holders 1st gen S-Series' come with it looks like my left hand will always be perched on a big soda or coffee cup for the time being. :roll:

I refuse to put drunk people in my Ty for that reason,

I did once launch the Ty hard and forget that I had a large soda from Taco bell in the cup holder (top on lucky). As it came flying past my head, I did the one handed grab with my right hand and held onto it till I slowed up. I was very lucky, cause I had my girlfriend sitting in the back seat and she was sitting right in the middle of the seat so she could talk to us in the front. She wouldn't have been to impressed.

My 1st gen didn't have any cupholders. I always used the little rectangle thing at the base of the armrest/on the tranny tunnel.

I have not had any one throw up in my Ty but I once had a cracked passenger side rocker panel that needed repair but was do able. I dropped of a real hott ex girlfriend off at her house WITH her fat read headed friend that sat in the back, and when she got out she used her heel on her boot like shoes on the rocker as a step! needless to say, chunky monky tore off half the rocker.......

My 1st gen didn't have any cupholders. I always used the little rectangle thing at the base of the armrest/on the tranny tunnel.

There's supposed to be a cup holder insert in that rectangle but it's just as useless as anything. The 93/94's weren't so bad when they had the higher center console with the two cup holder insert...Not so hot for cans of soda but Gatorade bottles fit perfectly.

The fat ones are with the hot ones in hopes they can break off a peice of man sometime during the night. At least thats my take on it.
