Lighter replacement calipers

One of the first up grades fiero owners do is the S10 caliper/le baron rotor swap

I did this years ago and its time for new calipers...
is there an alum replacement caliper for the S10 ? the stockers weigh a ton

The LS1 F-body and C5 vette calipers are cast alum, and have good aftermarket support (pads and such). Should be a fair bit lighter.

HOWEVER, I know they don't bolt up. You'd have to make a different bracket.

I don't know of an alum replacement caliper. But, maybe somebody else does.

No, GM never put a aluminum caliper on any of the S-series trucks. Your only option would be ( as stated above me ) to see if a F-body kit will work.

What's the spindle design on your stock setup? Does it have servicable bearings?

Funny now that I think about it I've never worked on a Fiero in my life.
