So all I have left is the GOV, TV cable and trans temp sender and Im done. I got a decent kit in there I think. Used 9 clutches for the 3/4, ALTO's I believe they were. I tried to get the Z PAK like I had a couple of years ago but they were out and I didnt feel like waiting for a week. Got the BEAST Sunshell, HD rear planet(just new really), all new Torringtons, Washers, fell clutch kit obviously, I have a Billet Servo laying around from another trans I got my hands on but decided not to use it as I heard they really tear thigns up. Also got the wide 2-4 Band. All new bushings. Im really looking forward to getting this thing back in the truck, I think this one is going to be really strong. I paid $600 for everything which even included my local trans guy to swap all my bushings. I also used the 500 boost valve and thought Ild try out a H/P TV plunger. We'll see about that. Went all pinless accumulator pistons as well. This time I got smart though, while installing my new A2A during the downtime, I thoguht that between the radiator and the IC would be a fine place for a big fat tanny cooler. Some of you were right about the stock heat exchanger idea, brought it down to a radiator shop, htey put 200 psi to it and it came apart. Pretty funny really. So i went and got me pretty good size cooler to do the job. And after seeing what trans fluid goes through in the radiator, I thought I may as well bypass it altogether. Well, it will be in in a couple of days hopefully and I can let you guys know how it goes. BTW, I found out my problem with my old trans, somehow, someway, I left the retainer that goes to the stack in the rear of the case out. What a tard. Just one of those things you only do once I guess. Im surprised it lasted as long as it did.
