I decided to put the ty to the test tonight!! Ive driven her 200 miles and all seems well. So tonight i turned the boost up for some tuning and looging. First pass 11.08@121 with the best 60 ft ive ever had on street tires a 1.58. AFRs looked good 10.8 to 11.1 @21psi
no knock on 103 octane. Next pass 2 hours later, 10.90@126 with a 1.60 60ft 25psi no knock 18* of timing 11.1 to 11.3 AFRS. At this point im sure it will go 10.50s with some more tuning and drag radials. Heres the vids. Enjoy

that 10 sec run was sick from behind. again congrats frank. what a bad night to be at the track but what a good night it turned into.

they did not say a word to him. free for some 10.4-6s with tires and maybe a little timing.

Thanks for the props guys. I was so stoked last night i couldnt sleep!!! It was nice that there was some SYTY support there at the track too. I went so fast i killed my alternator!
Yea after my last run the truck went dead. I needed to jump it to get it started again then i barley made it home only had 10 volts. It is a 8 year old alternator!! Ill get that replaced and be back for more on friday night. The track was mobbed only got 2 runs in 5 hours but like Don said it was a good night for me. The truck went 10s and nothing broke!!!!!!!!!!!!

now quit screwing around, and run 25psi, 26 deg of timing and a 12.5:1 a/f for some real numbers

dont forget the C16 though. It will be night and day difference.

Frank hasn't touched what that trans can take. He ordered the best of everything. I'm anxious to see how far he can take it. I thought you were building a cruiser:rotf: Man was I wrong:tup:

George this trans shifts great. My shift points are 5950 rpm and its right on the money. It hasent ran over 180*. I will be putting drag radials on next and gunning for the low 10s. Thanks for the good work george it was worth the wait.
BTW the converter is right on 3200 stall!!!!!!

Congrats on 10's. hopefully on friday I'll take my 80e into the 11's...got to try and catch up with the rest of the NJ trucks.
