Truck History

Does anyone know the history of truck 2571.
This is the little I have pieced together.
Sold to NJ owner shortly after wreck and sold as salvage.
Pa owner repaired and cleared salvage titled.
Resold to new Pa owner.
Resold to Ohio owner.

From what I've seen the truck must have been rolled.
It looks like the cab and bed were replaced.

There are some engine mods on it, but being a new to the
truck I don't have a clue to what they are or what to look for.

it was owned by Spencer Johnston back in 2002 - 2003-ish I think.

Assuming its Spencers truck, I remember it having a PTE 44 and 50# injectors.

Yes, it is Spencer's truck.
Looking on the Sportmachine site there is a picture,
with the gauges on the shelf under the ash tray.
If you know any more or someone to contact it would be helpfull.
Right now the truck runs 13.5 in the 1/4.

It ran 12's at the track at a Pittsburg meet in 2004.

yeah it had some custom tuning done to it back in the day..

spencer sorta had an idea what he was doing.

It was in the 12s when spencer sold it. 12.4 i think in 2004. He sold it early november 2004.

Don B...do you own this truck now, or is it currently for sale? Where are you or the truck located?

Yes, I've owned it for over 2 years now.
I'm in central Jersey.
I took it to the meet at Cherry Hill / Mt Laurel Hooters a few months ago.
The picture of the Hooters girl sitting on the bed is my Sy.

Getting a bit off topic here but Dave. Never actually noticed yours was 2661. Mine's is 2561.
