Still having idle issues

I sent my TB out to get rebuilt by Matt Blum. I borrowed one from my friend who wrecked his TY last year and just has it sitting aorund. Arizone Speed and Marine apparently has worked on this truck. It has the TB plate with engraved name on it. I put it on my truck and for hte first 10 minutes I couldnt get it to idle so i had to tighten the screw some. Then after driving around it was idling to high in OD but in P it would drop to normal, about 650-700. So I turned it down again and got it to idle at 650 in OD and about 700 in P. Well, after driving around for a day, it has gone right back to where it was, 900-1000 all the time in both gears....W....T....F!!!!! This truck is retarded. I have searched and searched for VAC leaks with no luck, I dont know whast else is left to do. Im not goiing to give up all hope unitl I get my TB back and have the smae problem, maybe his is worn as well. We'll see. This is definately gettign old though, its causing me to have awful gas mileage and tearing up my brakes and is just plain annoying.

How are you checking for vacuun leaks? WD-40 starting fluid?
I use starting fluid, less mess & I think it works better.

Starting fluid is better. Have you checked the IAC.

Not really, mine is only a few months old and I didnt switch it over. I am using his right now. Hopefully tomorrow I can go get em some starting fluid and if I still cant find a leak Ill have to see if I can somehow tune around it or something, hell I dont know, Im almost out of ideas at this point.

You can reset the IAC by putting your ECM in ALDL mode, jumper A & B for and turn key ON for 30+ seconds.

You will hear the IAC spinning while it is jumpered.

I have done this 5 or 6 times this weekend messing around with my idle.
IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE when you have changed the IAC or the TB.

Hmmm, I know all about reseting it, just never thoguht of it. When I get my TB back I will try that and see if it changes anything.

same here.

I had Matt do the same TB bore to 52mm and bearing the TB shaft.
Idled at 2k when I put it all back in with a new IAC.

Its still wanting to idle up at 1k but I just loaded code 59 and it hasn't learned squat yet.
