Indianapolis truck/import show pics

Coming back from PA we saw a bunch of extreme blazers on the side of the interstate. I called a friend and found out there was a show at indy racepark. We were a couple hours ahead of schedule anyways so we decided to stop by and I took a few pics. I might go back out tomorrow when its big and they have the burnout contest, bikini contest, hydraulic competition, etc.

This isnt close to how many pics I have and my battery went dead. It was a pretty good sized show. If anyones gonna check it out tomorrow let me know.

I also think the ty is a clone . A pic of it came up last year if I recall .

Congratulations to Jim Hrabe, SyTy.org's November Truck of the Month. Jim is the original owner of this 1991 Syclone #1619.

Here's the quick low down on Jim's beauty.

The truck is on a custom cantilever airbag set up on the front that uses the stock torsion bar,out back its on a ART roadgrater 4 link.

The bed is tubbed and contains all of the air-management(2 AZ compressors,4 3/8 smc valves,2 chrome 5 gallon tanks) system.

The truck retains its AWD.

Engine mods: ATR Pitbull chip, extrude honed intake with many mods still in the works.

The truck rolls on 18 inch Billet Specialties rims with BFG rubber.

The truck no longer has the leer cap it once had and now has a snugtop hard tonneau.

I'm pretty sure the ty is the clone from Milton, Ontario Canada. The owner started with a 1994 5 speed 2 door Blazer as a base and turned it into a typhoon clone.I'm pretty sure it's Tyler Stevens truck.He is a memeber on here as well.

Talked to the ty owner a little bit. He is from canada and yes its a clone. The sign on the front window said that its a fake :rotf:

By the way, the battery in the camera was dead when I walked by the girls in the pink truck as they were bent down detailing it

yeah I was at ITB about 2 years ago, took 3rd Place in my class, which wasnt bad considering the size of the show and the fact that I took the truck for its famous mud bath about 1 month before that :lol:
