Just got back from a 2+ hour wait at the DMV.

$29.95 later I walked out with my new plates and valid reg stickers.
First time since 02 it has been licensed.
I had the pink slip from 02 with my VIN on it and she laughed when I handed it to her.
She's like "I haven't seen one of these in awhile..."
I thought that was a bad sign.
She didn't even ask about the emissions certificate.
(No more emissions for OBD1s)

So while it may not run that great its F'n legal! :tup:

I was ASSuming there would be late fees and fines.

Trust me when she said $29.95 I was writing the check so damn fast I was afraid the pen would burn right through it.

She HAD to of screwed something up.
No fine for lapsing 4 years on plates? cmon?

I guess it was just my day!

And I could only get one year renewals since its an even year'd vehicle and this is an odd year. so that made it cheaper.

I can still apply for your pers plate renz, but it takes 8 weeks to get them.
Figured I have till next years Nats to work that out. :tup:

HELL YEAH!!! I am glad we are done with emissions testing. I just had my truck done a couple months ago and you should see the look on peoples faces when I say its AWD.

Plus, seeing my truck on the AWD dyno banging from side to side freaks me out with my z06 wheels ---
