It was on the side of the freeway. I went back for it and it's now in my office. Busted up pretty good.

This irritates the h*** outa me. I Drive a Peterbilt during the day, lot of craziness but no racing. However I take the Sy 45 mins each way to race on the track and I sometimes think about this, especially coming home in the dark when the fwy is fairly empty. Glad yur OK, get checked out ASAP, and keep us posted. BTW Did the kid get a ticket? Nice long one I hope.

I thought about it, but I trust the body shop. He has done great work for me on other cars. The driveline and rear axle are probably bent judging from the angle of the rear passenger wheel (not shown in any of the photos).

Oh hell yeah. It may not look bad, but the stuff that actually broke will be stupid expensive to fix. I work for an insurance company and used to work for a body shop. I can't imagine it NOT being totalled.

I'll add my opinion... go see a doc. Their insurance will try to screw you if they see you did not seek medical attention. This happened to me. They stopped screwing around the minute I produced evidence that I HAD in fact gone to the doctor later.

....Sorry for your typhoon loss, but glad that your not permanently injured!
-Take Pics (just in case you have to go to court)
-Get copies of medical statements (definitely get a check up as later on you may have side effects)
-Get copies of the Police Report (accident report, ticketing info, weather conditions, time/date, etc)
-If you have any pre-accident Typhoon Appraisals (even copies of improvement costs) for insurance co.
-Keep records of time off, rental car, taxi costs, etc

Not saying all this will be needed, but its good fundamentals to have on hand. I once
got a concussion, and find myself "drooling" 20 years later whenever Im in the presence of a naked woman...(lol)

Its not the body shop you need to worry about, Its the Insurance company.

I got an an accident 8 months ago and am still dealing with this shit. Sore neck. Actually just got back from the doc with some arthritis meds, and valium to relax muscles when I am sleeping. Shit is ****ing me up. Hate it.
