Softer springs for RPM Coilover?

Before I call Mike and bother him, does any know if its possible to install softer coils in the RPM front coilover kit? Its a little harsh and my rear Belltech springs are soft. I'd rather have both front and rear match and have a smoother ride. If I was doing cone racing or the Silver State Classic, then it would be a different story. :D

yes there are plenty of options for a softer spring, but nothing really for increased stiffness. which ones do you have the 600# or the 550#

most of the earlier kits had 1" spacers with a 600# spring.. The more recent kits have 2" spacers with 550# springs which allows for installation without a special spring compressor tool. In addition the taller shocks with the new kits offer a broader range of install heights, and allowed guys to keep a closer to stock ride height if desired. For those wanting a very low stance, the 1" spacer is recommended.

I must have the earlier kit since it had the 1" spacer. I'll give you call later to ask about the price for the 2" spacer and 550# spring or feel free to just PM me it.

I sure could of used that "special" spring compressor tool when I did mine! Had to get creative with my press to get those suckers on! Found out the hard way that normal springs compressors do not work on those! :lol:

Mike, do you sell just the spacers and do they work with the QA1 coilovers?

That's the 1 inch spacer on top of the springs
