I would put a 1000.00 bucks on I could make it up that in less than 15 minutes in a stock STi.

For those who have never met Shawn, you shouldn't really pass judgement based on what you see on TV. In person he is a great guy, and is alot more humble then you may think. I think anyone who spends that kind of money to have an unfortunate mechanical failure would be pissed off when given such limited opportunities to succeed. FYI, the guy who built the original motor is a GOOD engine builder with alot of experience. Lots of things i probably would have changed, but then again i have never raced Pike's Peak. Stay tuned for a buildup feature on Shawn's daily driven syclone we finished a few months ago.

That's true. I'm just jealous. :oops: That's one nasty truck.

First run up the hill in 2002 and 1st version of the truck in black with the radiator still in the front.

Truck is parked in storage nearby. Still for sale. I have his front/rear fenders and wheels. Converted to 1/2" longer ARP and Moroso wheel studs to fit the wheels. Fenders currently being fitted.
