    In a Fit of Immaturity...

Re: In a Fit of Immaturity... My Ty would do that (when it ran). Being a hyperactive drummer, I was always banging on the steering wheel as my drums, and the dash as my various cymbals. It never stalled on me, but if I whacked the dash whilst driving, it'd hiccup and then smooth out. It was...

    Funny Short Problem

Re: Funny Short Problem Thanks for the replies! I was drunk when I posted the thread, and almost forgot that I had put it up! I'll check the grounds to see if I'm not connected anywhere I can see. Now I'm really motivated to either get this thing running or get rid of it. We just found out...

    Funny Short Problem

So, I haven't been on here in a while. I'd lost interest in my typhoon and was actually hoping that it caught on fire. Anyway, I have a short problem that is ruining my expensive AGM battery. Whenever I turn on the headlights, or more specifically the turn indicator lights, I've got a short...

    (wot) hesitation please help

Re: (wot) hesitation please help Not saying that this is your problem, but some bump back down to UR5s when they add methanol because of the decreased intake temperature. It may not be incredibly easy to change the plugs out, but at least it's relatively inexpensive.

    ID These Ports Please

Re: ID These Ports Please Okay... There are two oil ports directly above the filter adapter on the block. There is one that is slightly higher and to the right of the port that I'm assuming is the correct port for turbo oil feed. Is this even an oil port? Do I need to plumb this to...

Suggestions / How to Fix Upper Rear Shock Mount Wanted

Re: Suggestions / How to Fix Upper Rear Shock Mount Wanted I use a handheld pneumatic shear which does the job nicely. I've also used a Metabo tool with a cut-off wheel when I was "fixing" the rear shock tower in my old Buick.

Suggestions / How to Fix Upper Rear Shock Mount Wanted

Re: Suggestions / How to Fix Upper Rear Shock Mount Wanted Best way to go about it is getting a piece of sheet steel and welding it in place. Make a template for the steel piece out of cardboard, and then cut your steel and weld it in. If you don't want to do the welding, you can fab up the...
